The Sister Run is an annual 5K Run/Walk that promotes awareness of Ovarian Cancer. The run was started in 1999 by the Loveday family, in memory of their daughter/sister Tricia Loveday Athanassiu, who died from Ovarian Cancer in 1999 when she was only 29 years old. 

The members of the Space Coast Support Group now organize and run this successful event.

We hope the event continues to grow and play and important role in our community's growing awareness of Ovarian Cancer.

The event is held in September, in accordance with Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
