Hold a Blue Hydrangea Tea Party and Raise Money for NOCC Jennie Hudgins and Elizabeth McCune are the sister and daughter of Ann McCune, who died in 2002 after a 5 year struggle with ovarian cancer. In her honor, they have developed the concept of a “Blue Hydrangea Tea Party” as a way for women throughout the country to gather locally and host parties to raise awareness about ovarian cancer and financially support their favorite ovarian cancer organization.
Saturday, May 13th at 3 o’clock in the afternoon is the designated day and time for this year’s event. Guests are asked to bring a monetary donation in lieu of a hostess gift and each hostess may direct the donations to the ovarian cancer agency of her choice. To register your party and receive information and instructions, go to www.bluehydrangeateaparty.org.
